What are the responsibilities and job description for the WSU AmeriCorps: Legacy Ministries position at AmeriCorps?
Legacy is a community of HOPE, fostering DISCOVERY, CREATIVITY, and ACCOUNTABILITY in YOUTH. LegacyWorks is a practical way of connecting local youth, ages 14-19, to job opportunities through our social enterprises - CoffeeWorks, PotteryWorks, and GardenWorks. The LegacyWorks Youth Development Continuum is a tiered system that creates the opportunity for youth to progress in their skills, leadership abilities, and development of their own ideas for their future.

Member Duties : This member will serve with one of the three areas supporting youth, PotteryWorks, CoffeeWorks and/or GardenWorks. The member will align with Legacy’s commitment to youth, be a team player, and honor all Legacy policies and procedures in conjunction with the work. The member will support programing needs, scheduling and support of day-to-day tasks of activities that propel and support the youth at Legacy. The member will organize and help plan events while serving in their assigned area.
Program Benefits : Education award upon successful completion of service .
