Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Biller at AmeriPharma, you will be responsible for timely and accurate billing activities, including interactions with third party payers, and patients as well as maintaining accurate records. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Bill MB groups once fill lists are created
• Change and rebill NDC’s
• Contact insurance for reject/overrides
• Create and follow up on prior authorizations
• Contact patients for insurance issues
• Collect copays
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Required Skills Qualifications 

• Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to effectively convey/summarize complex issues
• Able to simultaneously manage and prioritize multiple complex projects
• Strong interpersonal skills and interacts well with peers, business, and compliance professionals and other third parties
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and be flexible

Education Requirements 

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Billing experience

Preferred Skills and Education 

• Licensed/registered pharmacy technician

Schedule Details

• In-Person (Laguna Hills, Ca. - Office boarders Irvine)
• Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
