Kamerman & Associates – a dynamic, growth oriented, well established Private Wealth Advisory practice with Ameriprise Financial is seeking a fulltime Operations Manager. At Ameriprise Financial we help people feel confident about their financial future by providing comprehensive financial planning and investment consulting to families, individuals, and small organizations to help achieve financial goals and simplify their financial lives.
Job Purpose:
Serve as Operations Manager and be the central hub for business activities by handling business processing, coordinating office workflow, overseeing meeting preparation, and assisting partners all while providing exceptionally friendly, helpful, high-quality service to our clients. This role has the unique potential to grow into a successor role for the firm’s owner.
We are looking for someone whom overtime can learn and take on many of the owner’s responsibilities. The role requires someone who has excellent organization skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, has the ability to handle competing priorities and workload, is extremely timely, thorough and detail-oriented, and is also able to manage workflows through to completion. The successful candidate needs to be reliable, process-oriented and trustworthy at all levels.
Responsibilities:
- Manage operations for the practice
- People leadership
- Manage follow up and action items for team
- Oversee meeting preparation for all client meetings including managing the meeting preparation department.
- Act as project manager for all key activities and goals for the practice, proactively ensuring items are completed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 years of similar work experience in a professional office environment
- Highly organized, accurate, and has attention to detail
- Strong technology skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM workflows
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven analytical and independent problem-solving skills
- Pleasant, professional and displays a friendly and positive manner with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities
- Strong focus on customer service
- Excellent team player
- Ability to quickly and effectively switch between tasks
- Integrity - Strong personal and business ethics
- Desire to grow and learn within the practice
Salary and Benefits:
- $55 - $70K per year, commensurate with experience
