Position Description:
Are you looking to grow with an established wealth advisory practice? As a Paraplanner joining our team, you will play a dual role both within the financial planning practice and supporting the Financial Advisors in delivering an exceptional client experience.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the financial planning process – from data collection, input and analysis, to running scenarios, preparing charts, writing recommendations and finalizing a tailored and robust financial plan. Coach and supervise work product of junior members of team.
- Review and update client information as needed for client review meetings. You will handle the meeting preparation documents and information for the Financial Advisor.
- Attend client meetings, take notes, document action items, and efficiently collaborate with the team on tasks. Prepare and manage processing during client visits and finalize post-meeting client deliverables.
- Manage daily ad hoc client calls, requests and questions.
- If licensed, complete client trades accurately and efficiently and handle security transactions and insurance processing.
- Provide support for special projects as needed.
Key traits and skills:
- Knowledge of Financial Planning and proficient at listening to client needs and skillfully constructing tailored financial solutions.
- Self-starter able to solve problems independently without major supervision, which relies on ability to organize and prioritize, and to maintain attention to detail.

- Demonstrated high standards of integrity and business / professional ethics and able to put client interests first. Willingness to adhere to, and knowledge of, compliance rules and regulations as stated and required by Advisor, Ameriprise Financial compliance and FINRA.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products and financial planning (NaviPlan, Money Guide Pro) and Customer Relationship Management software (Salesforce).
Education and Other Designations:
- College degree or higher
- CFP® designation
- 5 years of directly relevant experience
- Already have or be able to study for and pass exams for Series 7 and 66 licenses and state insurance registrations.
Salary and Benefits:
Base salary commensurate with experience, discretionary bonuses, employer profit sharing, health insurance.

Hybrid work environment, with in-office days at our Pleasantville, NY offices.
