Our team in Montgomery, AL is growing and looking for an Garage-Admin Support to join or team. The Garage-Admin Support will be responsible for preforms light vehicle maintenance, fuel fleet vehicles, perform pre/post trip inspections, replenishes vehicle with fuel, grease, fluids (oil, water, windshield cleaner), and air (tires) as needed, complete daily fueling logs, data entry, scheduling of repairs, customer service, contacts with clients, working with safety standards as it pertains to Fleet, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Transport vehicles
  • Parts inventory management
  • Fuel Fleet vehicles
  • Performs light maintenance
  • Perform pre/post trip inspections
  • Replenishes vehicle with fuel, grease, fluids (oil, water, windshield cleaner), and air (tires) as needed
  • Completes daily fueling logs
  • Coordinates vehicle preventative maintenance and repairs with clients and technicians.
  • Maintains vehicle safety records and coordinates inspections in order to maintain compliance.
  • Confirms accuracy of data such as unit numbers, VINs, work order numbers, etc.
  • Reviews and makes necessary corrections to information entered
  • Assists in establishing and maintaining an effective and efficient records management system.
  • Generates reports and responds to inquiries regarding entered data as requested.
  • Maintains confidential information.
  • Performs general clerical duties such as typing, answering phones, etc.
  • Interact with clients through both email or phone as necessary.
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a Garage Support/Administrative Supportive role
  • CDL- Class B preferred. Management will allow time to obtain
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service; customer/client driven approach
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Knowledge of records management procedures

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

  • Automotive Industry: 1 year (Preferred)
