Ames is looking for a night shift security guard in Denver, CO.
Requirements:
Ø Be committed to work safely and to wear all of the required safety equipment.
Ø Report any unsafe conditions or acts to your immediate supervisor.
Ø Pass a Pre-employment Drug Screen and Alcohol Test.
Ø Be able to read and understand Safety and Employment requirements.
Ø Be dependable and consistent with regards to attendance and punctuality.
Ø Willing and able to work extended hours and possible nights and weekends as required.
Ø Tolerate temperature extremes and changing jobsite conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.)
Physical Requirements:
Ø Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds continuously throughout the day.
Ø Capable of pulling and pushing along with other types of jarring impacts.
Ø Consistently walk, stand on uneven surfaces and elevations 90% of the time.
Ø Unlimited climbing ladders, steps, scaffolds, forms and other means of access to work areas.
Ø Consistently twist, stoop and bend while maintaining sure-footedness and balance.
Ø 90% of your time on your feet.
Ø Perform overhead work frequently.
Ø Consistently work on your knees as job tasks require.
Ø Consistently work at various heights and in confined spaces without difficulty.
Job Skills:
Ø Be organized and able to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ø Be able to work with others and also to work independently on assigned tasks.
Ø Be proficient in the use of portable hand tools associated with construction related work.
Ø Be proficient with regards to the use of hand and power tools and be able to use them safely.
Ø Put away equipment/tools at the end of the day and maintain good housekeeping at all times.
Ø Be alert and attentive to your own safety and safety of co-workers. Alert supervisor of bending hazards.
Accurately complete a daily time card and other paperwork as required.
