Established in 1997, Ameta is a leading North American distributor of security and enterprise technology products including video surveillance equipment, access/door controls, smart building technology, automatic identification data capture (AIDC), and label printing. The company sells through a reseller/dealer channel and offers customers a full range of products, competitive value, and value-add services and support. Today, Ameta operates 5 distribution and sales centers across the USA, Canada and Mexico.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
- 1-2 sales experience (B2B preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of sales metric and ability to problem solve
Preferred Qualifications
- Discipline to work towards independent sales goals, team spirit to help colleagues towards team goals.
- Understanding of how to create a business plan, as well as making adjustments to plan
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Good business acumen, independent, self-motivated, organized and good in managing priority
- Must be customer-oriented, able to influence customers at all levels and a strong teammate with a partnering mindset
- Experience selling in Retail, technology, or logistics industries is an asset.
Responsibilities:
Represent Ameta as the complete portfolio expert for our product lines in the assigned industry segment.
- Generate leads at trade shows, events, and other lead generation opportunities.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales quota
- Inputting market feedback to determine pricing and promotions.
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
- Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
- Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
- Preparing sales orders
- Maintaining client records
- Becoming the first point of contact for dedicated client accounts. Answering client questions about credit terms, products, and availability.

Pay: 60k base starting salary. Commission pay - No limit
Travel: Yes. Candidates should have the ability to travel.
