We are seeking to add an experienced and motivated CNC Operator to our team either on 1st or 2nd shift. The CNC Operator is responsible for producing machined parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine while maintaining quality and safety standards. We offer competive pay and a 15% differential for 2nd shift.
What will you do?
On any given day, your responsibilities would include:

Advanced machine operation including set up

Load raw materials and unload completed parts

Be required to operate multiple machines simultaneously

Troubleshoot and perform significant editing of current programs

Select set-up of appropriate tooling & fixtures

Perform inspections on own work & co-worker’s work

Make adjustments to assure dimensions tolerances, quality, and highest accuracy of parts

Work on continuous improvement including processes, productivity, quality, and safety
You are a great fit if you have the following skills:
- High school diploma or GED required; professional certification/education preferred
- 3-5 years’ minimum relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good understanding of machining practices
- Ability to read blueprints, specification drawings; read and interpret other written work instructions
- Knowledge of basic program development, including troubleshooting experience
- Good technique in the use of measurement tools i.e. snap gauge, micrometers, digital caliper, optical comparator, etc.
- Good use and understanding of QMS, MAX & SPC databases as necessary
