What You’ll Do
As an Optical Systems Engineer at Zygo Corporation, you will develop optical designs for novel metrology systems, as well as becoming a systems-level subject matter expert in the development and use of Zygo metrology products.
Who You’ll Work With
You will work in a collaborative team environment as part of the Zygo Engineering group, working alongside other engineering disciplines, product management and applications engineering. In addition, meetings with customers and internal end users (e.g. staff in the Zygo optics shop) are typical.
What You’ll Bring
You will have a background in Optical Engineering and proficiency with Zemax OpticStudio. You will also have an interest in optical metrology and be willing to develop a system level understanding of electrical, mechanical components, software algorithms.
What’s Nice to Have
Programming background/experience particularly data analysis, signal processing, or hardware integration. Experience with other optical design software e.g. CodeV. Experience with ZYGO products, optical metrology methods, and interferometry. Experience with solid modeling CAD software such as SolidWorks.
