Amgen is seeking a Pathology Director to work in the Department of Translational Safety and Bioanalytical Sciences (TS&BA), preferably at our South San Francisco or Thousand Oaks CA facility. In this vital role you will contribute in the drug development process from target identification and validation through product registration and post marketing activities. Primary responsibilities of a Pathology Director include:

Doctorate, PharmD, MD, DVM and 4 years of Pathology experience [and relevant post-doc where applicable]
Master's degree and 7 years of Pathology experience
Bachelor's degree and 9 years of Pathology experience
Broad knowledge of leading and / or state of the art principles and theories in discipline and basic knowledge of related and adjacent disciplinary areas
Understands broader organizational goals and business priorities in relation to therapeutic program / work group

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
