What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Visitation Scheduler position at AMHC?
AMHC would like to announce the opening of the Family Visitation Worker/ Scheduler position in Washington and Hancock County. This Full-Time position is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and supervising visits between children and their families. The Family Visitation Scheduler will be expected to demonstrate the core values of AMHC by showing Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, Service, Collaboration, and Respect to co-workers, clients, and community members.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience working with Children and families
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Responsible for all communication from DHHS casework for scheduling requests for family visitations with Integrity and Excellence
- Maintain program scheduling and communicate schedule with all members of the team through Collaboration
- Identify appropriate venues for visitation in our community to best Serve our families
- Supervise visits according to court orders or other agreements remembering the importance of Respect
- Provide parent education through role modeling with Compassion
- Intervene when appropriate to ensure the safety and welfare of the child.
Schedule:
- This is a 40 hour per week position
- This position is required to meet the needs of the families
