Amherst Country Club is looking for a full time, golf teacher within their Golf Instruction Department.
Candidates must be able to:
- Work a variety of shifts, including weekends, early mornings, and evenings.
- Position includes teaching golf, utilizing indoor and outdoor facilities.
- Hourly pay scale/salary is based on specific experience and credentials. Incentives will be considered.
- Candidate must be driven; able to self-promote and market.
- Experience teaching the game of golf is required for consideration of employment.
- Interested candidates must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

Amherst Golf Academy is an immersive, multi-faceted educational golf environment that reaches all ages and all abilities. Our focus is on Golf For Life, a motto and plan that will be customer focused and customer driven, centered on the development of each individual from their first lesson through their entire golf career. · Individual (private) lessons in a comfortable, non-intimidating atmosphere.
· Golf camps designed for junior players, tailor made for their specific age needs, and focused on continual development of all aspects of their golf experience.

· Group lesson for women, men, families, and friends.

· Club fittings and vendor specific Demo Days in order to optimize every individual-specific equipment need.

Qualifications Desired
· Class A PGA Member or PGA Apprentice
· Minimum two (2) years of golf instruction experience
· Excellent communication skills
· A positive attitude and have the ability to work with a variety of people and in cooperation with coworkers efficiently and effectively
· Flexibility to working days, early mornings, weekends
· Uphold and ensure compliance with all company and departmental policies
· Candidate will be responsible for all marketing and coordination of their own private instruction.
· Candidate must be able to market, coordinate, and manage programming of all camps and clinics, including, but not limited to: After School Golf; 5 Day Golf C& Saturday Golf C& Women’s Learn & Play.
· Clinics will be offered on site; utilizing all facilities, including The Sims, putting greens (at both ACC and PG), driving range (PG), and on course (both ACC & PG).
· Must have the ability to work for extended time periods in an outdoor environment, including sun, heat, cold, wind, rain, and higher than normal noise levels.

Pay: $40.00 - $75.00 per hour
