Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Take dental X-rays using appropriate safety protocols.
- Utilize 3D scanners for imaging and modeling as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records
- coordinate patient flow efficiently.
- Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and work areas.
- Collaborate with the dental receptionist to manage administrative tasks effectively.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including knowledge of Eaglesoft software systems.
- Experience with medical imaging technologies and X-ray procedures.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail.
