Traffic Control Coordinator

The Traffic Control Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, setting up, managing, and removing traffic control operations on job sites. This role is best suited for a team player who is action-oriented and can lead with a firm yet considerate disposition.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prep job sites by employing traffic control devices - traffic cones, barricades, signs, and etc.
• Implement and report traffic control plans to proper authorities. Communicate effectively with crews and the public.
• Ensuring safety of all personnel on the job site by maintaining a work safety zone from start to finish.
• Abide by all laws and regulations - traffic laws, company procedures, DOT regulations, etc.
• Report as well as prevent any accidents, hazards, or violations.
• Keep check of inventory of all traffic devices.
• Work with the management team to stay updated on job knowledge and be informed of any changes.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism with clients and work to establish a positive rapport with every contact.
• Willing to crosstrain and help out on other crews when needed: paving, milling, sealcoat & stripe, base & stone, concrete, etc.
• Perform other duties assigned.

Skills Needed:

• Must have a clean, valid Drivers License.
• Must hold up-to-date Flagger Certification.
• Strong analytical ability, quantitative and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
• Confidentiality and trustworthiness

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
