What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Amici Food Group?
Title: Server
Reports To: GM, Assistant Managers
Overall Responsibilities:
Responsible for approaching all customers within 2 minutes of them sitting down with a “WOW” greeting. They must have a clear and perfect understanding of the menu and all items and prices. They should have the ability to converse with customer about ingredients and cooking methods any question the customer asks. They must up sell items as well as have a full knowledge of our beverage menu including alcohol.
Specific Duties:
- To greet the customer with a friendly and out-spoken attitude.
- To have a full knowledge of the Amici experience
- To sell the menu.
- To work well with the Mgmnt. and all other team members.
- To do all side work as asked of you and follow all checklists.
- Upsell at all levels.
- Converse with customers to make them comfortable.
- Be able to address customer problems and ALWAYS get a manager when there is an unhappy customer.
- Have knowledge of money responsibilities.
- SMILE – Be friendly.
- Never say NO to a customer.
- Know how to use Aloha.
- Know to check out the restaurant to Amici standards.
- Understand philosophy of Continuous Improvement.
