Amick Brown is seeking an experienced Client Engineer for our direct client.
Location: Peachtree Corners, GA
Duration: 12 Months
Estimated pay range: $60 - $75 an hour per client contract and candidate skills, experience and work location.
Description
Duties include, supporting highly customized MECM environments that manage over 12000 computers worldwide. This role will have a specific emphasis on maintaining partnerships and supporting our Manufacturing and Service Business Units worldwide. Responsibilities include application packaging, reporting, Operating System Deployment, security hardening, and establishing Hardware, OS, and Software standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
This position has responsibility and authority:
• Create, update, and maintain multiple windows OS images for Manufacturing Organization leveraging MECM OSD, MDT and WDS
• Responsible for working with Client Engineering team maintaining and supporting MECM in Intune and on-prem
• Experience with working MECM 1902. MDT and WDS.
• Responsible for developing, configuring, and maintaining monitoring capabilities that support our Infrastructure Operations, ITEMS, Software sustainment and Manufacturing teams
• Update architecture, run and build book documentation as needed
• Submit and communicated changes as needed using change control process.
• Receive and respond to escalations. Escalate issues to management, if necessary.
• Collaborate with team members and execute the IT strategy in a cost effective and timely manner.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices in risk management techniques and integrate new methods and tools as appropriate.
• Experience with Active Directory Service and provide recommendations, update following change control if needed.
• Create and troubleshoot PowerShell scripts as needed.
• Build in Automation and Self-service when needed
• Create and maintain all aspects of documentation relative to responsibilities and processes.
• Maintain and create application packages
• Maintain Windows OS desktop security hardening
• Package software and patches as needed.
Skill/Job Requirements:
• 7 Systems Engineering experience
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Windows operating systems (Win XP, Win7, Win10)
• Virtualization – Hyper-V and VMWare ESXi 5.5 , Nutanix
• TCP/IP, DHCP, WINS, DNS
• PowerShell scripting
• Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and Intune
• MECM
o Infrastructure
