Primary function of position
- This exciting role sits in the Global Business Servies Program Management Office (PMO), delivering effective and efficient programs and services through Program Management and Business Improvement.
- This role will contribute to our client success by delivering impact, profitable results, proactive risk management and contribution to growth.

- The Project Manager – GBS PMO will work independently to help design, deliver and embed business changes / processes to support our Global Business Services.
- This highly skilled and experienced Project Manager will work closely with key internal stakeholders across the business at all levels to identify required changes, the nature and level of change impact on the business, and will manage the change processes, ensuring business readiness and engagement so that program objectives and business benefits are delivered and met.
- This role will report to the Senior Director, Global Business Services PMO.
Job Description
- Driving the implementation of cross-functional, strategic projects.
- A resilient and versatile Project Manager with a solid background and experience of delivering business transformation projects on time, within scope and on budget.
- Provide project management support to effectively execute projects from kickoff to completion, including coordination of resources, meetings, and feedback while diligently working to ensure all projects are on track, on time, and in scope.
- Strong stakeholder and communication management skills managing multiple stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong communication and negotiations skills to manage expectations.
- Act as a strategic driver and execute key activities within each integration phase, monitor, control the project work.
- Evaluate organizational readiness in advance of transformation events and effectively define approach, tools and processes that will be used to successfully support transformation events
Required Skills
- A Bachelor’s Degree or related equivalent work experience required
- A minimum of 8-12 years of experience in program or project management (preferably within a regulated industry such as medical devices, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or aerospace / defense) required
- Experience with various business systems such as product lifecycle management (PLM), enterprise resource management (ERP) and master data management (MDM) strongly preferred
- Ability to define projects and their goals, estimating budgets, risks and resources required
- Demonstrated track record of team leadership, building teams, and relationship management required
- Strong communication and presentation skills required
- Experience with MS Project, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and/or other standardized project management tools/documentation preferred
- Certification in Project Management preferred (PMP or Masters Certificate in Project Management)
- Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time
