Qualifications
Minimum
2-4 years of professional experience in Oracle Data Mining
3-5 years of experience in performing advanced analytics inside Oracle
3-5 years of experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP)
BA/BS in Business, Engineering, Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent
3-5 years of experience in using relational databases DML, DDL, DCL and TCL
1-3 years of experience with SSRS or Power BI
1-3 years of experience in data quality improvement, especially in developing program to detect data quality issues
Ability to work independently and to take accountability
Ability to be creative
Ability to communicate in a concise manner
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Desired
3-5 years of experience within any area of Electric Operations in the electric utility industry
Understanding of normal form data modeling and dimensional data modeling concepts
5-7 years of mixed experience in OSISoft PI architecture, development, system administration and end use
3-5 years of experience in developing and maintaining ETL jobs
3-5 years of experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
3-5 years of experience with SSIS
Responsibilities
Understand business requirements
Understand the data in different systems, such as Aveva/OSI PI, data warehouses and various transactional systems
Come up with innovative ideas to solve business problems using data
Develop and maintain analytics from rules based deterministic analytics to heuristic analytics such as classification and Natural Language Processing
Tune database queries, to achieve optimal performance
Develop and maintain BI reports
Document all work
