About the Position:
The Grant Project Assistant will support and help organize and manage the routine work activities of the Third Party Administrator Grantmaking and Contracting department and provide grantmaking pre and post award support for community-based organizations.
Salary Range: $70,000.00/yr to $73,000.00/yr
This position is hybrid-remote.
What You Will Do:
- Attend weekly Grantmaking TPA meetings.
- Coordinate scheduling on the development of webinars.
- Assist with the development of grant RFP documents as assigned.
- Become fluent in the use of Blackbaud Grantmaking within 3 months
- Assist with the development of multiple online RFP application through Blackbaud Grantmaking or other designated grantmaking software.
- Provide grantmaking troubleshooting and customer support during the open grantmaking process.
- Assist with the review, vetting, selection and training and coordination of payment and gathering of documentation for reviewers.
- Assist with tracking of information needed and gathered on awarded projects.
- Gather and track statistics regarding outreach, proposals received, funded and areas awarded.
- Review website to ensure accuracy throughout grantmaking process.
- Provide screening and technical review of the applications.
- Coordinate with data team, operations and finance and JCOD throughout grantmaking process.
- Assist with the contracting process including but not limited to setting up documents in DocuSign, tracking completed documents, compiling elements of contracts and conducting follow-up on deficient items, managing the online filing system of all grant elements, building contracts, securing signatures, filling out forms, and coordinating with various teams preparing budgets and other programmatic documentation.
- Develop internal calendar for grantmaking deadlines, ensuring that all responsible departments and Program Directors are on track and are reminded with sufficient frequency to meet all contract-mandated deadlines
- Assist with written reports as needed
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
Experience working in a grantmaking-related position
Three years administrative assistant or managerial support experience
