Job Title: Locum - Physician - Emergency Medicine

Department: Emergency Department

Location: Ocala, FL 34470

Summary:

The Emergency Medicine Physician is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of patients in the emergency department. The physician will work with a team of nurses, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals to provide care to patients of all ages with a variety of medical and traumatic conditions.

Responsibilities:

· Provide medical care to patients in the emergency department

· Diagnose and treat a variety of medical and traumatic conditions

· Order and interpret diagnostic tests

· Prescribe medications and treatments

· Consult with other healthcare professionals as needed

· Document patient care in the medical record

· Participate in quality improvement initiatives

· Maintain professional licensure and certifications

Qualifications:

· Medical degree from an accredited medical school

· Experience in emergency medicine preferred

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Salary: $290.00 - $300.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Ocala, FL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

  • BC/BE (Preferred)
  • Medical License (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:
