What you will be doing:
As an Applications Engineer you will be the technical interface with customers purchasing and deploying Amogy products. You will be responsible for advising potential customers on Amogy product offerings and supporting the deployment of products into customer mobility and power generation applications.
You will collaborate heavily with our commercial teams to ensure project proposals meet all technical requirements for the customer application. During project execution, you will provide technical expertise to the project deployment team concerning product integration and commissioning in customer applications. Additionally, you will advise the other technical departments at Amogy on customer requests to facilitate the development of more competitive product offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Advise customers on Amogy product offerings for customer mobility and stationary power generation applications and provide technical support throughout the product sales lifecycle.
- Provide an excellent customer experience and ensure that product offerings are designed to meet evolving customer needs.
- Prepare technical documentation for the Amogy products.
- Maintain expert-level technical knowledge of all Amogy products.
- Oversee deployment and field commissioning of Amogy products.
- Execute troubleshooting of Amogy products deployed in customer applications and provide the customer technical guidance on service and maintenance plans.
- Collaborate with other technical and business organizations within Amogy to ensure customer requirements are incorporated into our technology and product development roadmaps.
The minimum requirements we seek:
- BS or MS in an engineering field
- 5 years of experience deploying powertrain, power generation, or propulsion system technologies.
- Experience with maritime systems, fuel cells, hydrogen, internal combustion engines, or ammonia is preferred.
- Experience interacting with customers to provide product recommendations and technical support throughout product sales cycles.
- Experience developing technical solutions to product integration challenges faced by customers.
- Familiarity with regulatory codes and standards, particularly for maritime applications.
- Ability to travel worldwide to meet with customers and oversee product commissioning.
- Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
The salary pay range for this position $110,000 to $125,000. The salary pay range is applicable to positions physically based in Houston. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, job experience and physical location.
