Production Manager

Key Job Elements:

· Help support daily management of production department duties, including leading meetings and communicating with internal and external suppliers

· Follow a production schedule (daily and weekly)

· Lead our Continuous Improvement program (5S’s, visual management, daily Kaizen meeting)

· Review and update SOP as required

· Coach associates to work the best way possible

· Participate in company safety initiatives

· Analyze customer orders, market forecasts, and trend analysis to determine inventory needs/levels of raw material

· Responsible for production planning to ensure orders are prioritized in order to meet production and shipping schedules

· Maintain inventory of production and warehouse supplies

Preferred Qualifications:

· 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing planner role

· Bachelor's degree (required)

· MRP experience

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Six Sigma, Lean, and/or Kaizen methodology experience

· Problem solving and analytical skills

· Good communication skills, both written and verbal

· Leadership ability

· Knowledge of MS Office

· Microsoft Excel experience (formulas, pivot tables and charts)

· Excellent attention to detail

. SAP knowledge as a plus
