We are hiring a full-time Remote-ITAD Business Development Manager to join our organization.
Job Purpose/Summary
A Business Development Manager at AMP Group is responsible for hunting new business opportunities and cultivating existing client relationships in the battery recycling industry. You will utilize a combination of inbound leads and outbound prospecting to present AMP’s unique battery-recycling solutions to various stakeholders with a goal of securing long term business agreements. You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle process from prospecting to continued account management.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelors preferred
Experience:
· Minimum 5 years’ sales and/or account management experience in Battery Recycling industry, ITAD acquisitions or IT Service Solutions
· Previous experience presenting to senior executives and a larger audience as an industry expert.
· Previous experience responding to RFPs and building proactive proposals to solicit new business.
· Must have a valid driver's license
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
· Knowledge of the Battery Recycling business and Electronics Recycling business
· A proven process for appointment setting and lead generation through; calls, emails and social outreach to secure appointments.
· A proven process for uncovering potential client pain points and using that information to deliver value and close new business
· Must be comfortable with all basic computer systems (i.e. Microsoft Suite). Prior CRM or ERP experience preferred
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Finding and qualifying sales leads to bring in business in the battery recycling industry, primarily retired EV batteries, manufacturing battery scrap etc.. Measures of success include a high volume of qualified lead generation, new customer acquisition, and a contribution to the overall sales team success
· Finding and qualifying sales leads for ITAD (IT Asset Disposition), primarily computers, laptops and other IT hardware. Measures of success include a high volume of qualified lead generation, new customer acquisition, and a contribution to the overall sales team success.
· Lead pipeline development, prospecting, deal execution, implementation, forecasting and continued management across our target markets.
· Seek out and respond to RFIs, RFPs and RFQs based on our ideal client profile.
· Build and maintain relationships with existing and new C-level executives, Directors, managers, sales teams, and engage with all levels in an organization to add value
· Expand new and existing relationships finding opportunities to expand services by identifying, researching, and networking prospects, customers, and internal referral sources to expand the customer base.
· Work with the team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives
· Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Use an appropriate style to persuade or negotiate appropriately
· Have a deep understanding of our client’s obstacles, challenges and roadblocks
· Other duties as assigned
