Ampa Events is looking for exhibition management individuals who are enthusiastic, creative, have a positive attitude and are team players. Having an entrepreneurial mindset, as well as the ability and interest to constantly look for opportunities in the the marketplace for the company, is essential. A degree in Convention Management or Hospitality is a plus.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for business development: selling of exhibition booths & sponsorships on a daily basis for assigned shows
* Facilitating exhibitions* Handling the logistics of trade shows, conferences, and similar events
* Work with management team and follow sales strategies to ensure sales targets are met
* Ensure the company’s standards of sales performance and targeted goals are met
Requirements:
* 3-5 years experience in exhibit management and sales
* 4 year college degree required
* Detail-oriented* Must have ability to develop and follow timelines
* Be able to effectively manage multiple tasks
* Must be customer focused
* Be a strategic planner
* Have an understanding of social media marketing
* Attendance at all shows
* Must have physical ability to lift and manipulate 50 - 75 pounds
* Must be able to be in office Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm and weekends as needed.
Salary: $50,000 commission
