General Overview :
Ampex Data Systems Corporation is looking for a talented, committed, and self-motivated Shipping & Receiving Associate who enjoys the challenge of a constantly changing environment.
This position is to be filled onsite in Hayward, CA. No employer visa sponsorship is available.
Principle Duties :
- Receive and inspect all incoming packages
- Maintain and run FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, or other carrier programs for outgoing shipments.
- Monitor materials to ensure adequate supply is available to facilitate safe shipment of product
- Provide listing of material needs to manager / supervisor to ensure stock levels are maintained
- Provide logistical support to the company as required
- Support Manufacturing and assists in assembly when requested
- Support Quality Assurance and assist when requested
- Facilities support : Help with various projects (i.e. setting up workstations, managing eWaste, maintaining facility infrastructure, equipment maintenance, and production support as needed).
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma Required
- 2 years’ experience in Shipping and Receiving
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Email / Calendar
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
This position may require exposure to information, which is subject to US export control regulations, i.e., the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

Compensation :
- Salary Range : $25-$30 per hour (based on experience)
