The Revenue Operations team leverages data, technology, and process to support the explosive growth of Amplitude. We partner with leaders from the go-to-market teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partnerships) to develop a cohesive go-to-market strategy and execute on a global scale.  

About the Role

You will be the driving force behind the strategy, operational excellence, and process for how Amplitude plans and forecasts for the future of the revenue organization as well as for the company as a whole.  Handling everything modeling and planning related from capacity, productivity, headcount, demand generation, revenue strategy, compensation, to forecasting, you will work cross functionally across the revenue organization as well as with Revenue Operations and GTM leadership to ensure Amplitude is planning in an aggressive and strategic manner. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with adept model building skills and experience, as well as strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

What You’ll Do

  • Work directly with revenue leadership to develop and execute on strategies related to organizational structure, headcount allocation, goal setting, demand generation, and territory design  
  • Partner with sales, operations, marketing, and systems teams to create seamless processes and strive towards operational efficiency
  • Conduct data-driven analysis to understand the past and predict the future by making recommendations to the broader organization about future strategies
  • Support sales and revenue operations leadership and finance in ongoing initiatives and reporting

Minimum qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales strategy, sales operations, business analyst, or financial analyst roles 
  • Ability to partner with executives and manage multiple stakeholders cross functionally
  • Proficient in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel (e.g. should know commonly-used functions such as INDEX(MATCH), VLOOKUP, COUNTIFS, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables)
  • Knowledge/experience with Salesforce.com, and other sales productivity and forecasting tools
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-starter mentality with a high degree of follow through; can own and take tasks through to completion

Preferred qualifications

  • Additional experience working at a high growth startup / tech company
  • Demonstrated experience with cross-functional collaboration and influence
  • Exposure to sales compensation strategy and data
