ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST
POSITION SUMMARY
The Accounting Specialist will assist with the development and maintenance of basic accounting duties such as Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable for multiple companies, including AMPP Construction. Ideally, this person will demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy, exhibit critical thinking, work well in a team environment, and will strive to enrich the Company Culture. The Accounting Specialist reports directly to the
Senior Accounting Manager and maintains proactive, frequent, and open communication.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Accounts Receivable - Prepare or assist daily, weekly, monthly, invoices for customers related to completed (and in progress) projects.
- Accounts Payable - Accurately enter invoices to be paid on a weekly basis and process those payments via physical check or ACH.
- Weekly Equipment Import in ERP.
- Establish new jobs in ERP weekly.
- Complete all vendor credit applications.
- Complete vendor statement reconciliations.
- Maintain all company credit card / credit card receipt administration.
- Contact customers for pending payments when needed.
- Enter cash receipts for all received payments.
- Prepare 1099’s at year end.
- Other duties as directed.

- Minimum 2 years of accounting/finance experience (preferred)
