PURPOSE
Responsible for directing and controlling all production planning activities on assigned shifts to support plant operations by providing a functional production schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Develop and maintain a master schedule for manufacturing based on purchased components and capacities.- Schedules should be realistic and achievable and adjusted as needed.
- Provide required reviews with production, planning, and procurement personnel to ensure proper execution of the plan.
- Manage the capacity, machine, workforce, and overall supply based on the demand forecast.
- Track actual performance to plans, schedules, and forecasts and adjust master schedules and inventory plans to support capacity situations.
- Analyze lead times with operations and supply chain to ensure schedule accuracy.
- Analyze inventory levels for purchased and manufactured goods. Monitors material inventories, tracks progress of production, and reviews factors which affect schedules.
- Interact frequently with business development and operations.
- Responsible for daily production meetings, presenting updated master production schedules and making the necessary adjustments to keep the plan accurate and updated.
- Timely reporting of key metrics.
- Establish a working relationship with all company functions.
- Perform other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictated.

Education and/or Experience
- At least 5 years’ experience working as a master scheduler in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience using APS/ERP Systems. Syteline experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Must have a proven track record of successful interactions with other employees throughout the organization.
- Solid understanding of equipment capacities.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
- Program and Project Management experience
- Results oriented, strong bias for action, self-motivated and self-directed.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding work environment. Ability to balance conflicting and multiple priorities.

Salary : $98,000 - $124,000
