Digital Marketing Specialist

Amro Music seeks a creative problem-solver to join its team as a digital marketing specialist. This individual will be responsible for Amro Music's digital marketing, branding, and online content. Responsibilities of this position include:

• Website - Amro Music maintains one of the most visited websites in the music products industry. As part of this job, the digital marketing specialist will establish Amro's SEO objectives, monitor its online presence, build new web pages, and manage the relationship with Speak Creative, Amro's website design firm.
• Social Media Pages - Amro maintains an active Facebook and Youtube page. The digital marketing specialist will be charged with creating meaningful online content that allows Amro to interact with customers and encourages participation in music.
• Podcast Marketing - Amro hosts a weekly podcast, "After Hours: Conversations for Music Educators." The digital marketing specialists at Amro oversees all podcast-related marketing to help grow the podcast's listener base.
• Outbound Sales Marketing - As a sales organization, the digital marketing specialist works closely with Amro's sales team to create sales campaigns and marketing pieces that lead to profitable sales.
• Digital Customer Experience - Amro strives to interact with customers where they want to be met, including an SMS service called Podium. While not responsible for responding to each message, the digital marketing specialist at Amro oversees this platform, ensuring that the Amro team receives the training and information it needs to interact with customers online.
• Printed Marketing Pieces - Where it's a strategic fit, Amro utilizes printed marketing pieces to advertise events, sales, or sponsorships. The digital marketing specialist will be responsible for working alongside Amro team members to aid in the design of these pieces.
• Events - Amro hosts a few events throughout the year, the largest being its Back to School Party. The digital marketing specialist chairs the planning of this event and a few other smaller events throughout the year.
• In-Store Customer Service - As a retail organization, all team members at Amro are expected to aid customers when the need arises. This may include answering phone calls, assisting customers in the store, and ensuring customers have an exceptional shopping experience with Amro Music.

As part of the position, Amro frequently uses Canva, ActiveCampaign, ConstantContact, and the Adobe suite of products. While its not required that a person be fluent in each of these programs, an ideal candidate will be willing to learn them.

While both are viewed favorably, neither a marketing degree nor being a musician is required in this position. Rather, Amro Music is looking for an ideal individual that is an outstanding fit for its team and culture.

Starting pay for this position is $23.00 for candidates able to fulfill the job qualifications. Pay rate will be increased for candidates with 5 or more years of experience in similar marketing roles.

This is a full-time (40 hours) per week position. Benefits include paid time off, paid holidays, health insurance, and 401(K) with employer matching.
