Property Site Manager - Bronx
Established Property Management Firm has an immediate opening for an experienced Property Manager with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in affordable housing.
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day field operations at assigned locations.
Work at each location directly with the site staff in a “hands on” setting.
Office/Computer Skills not required.
Main Job Duties:
On Site Field Supervision of maintenance staff; manage their performance; verify & approve hours & contracts
Conduct inspections of the properties and perform periodic unit inspections.
Handle violations and corrections; keeping Management informed on their status.
Maintain supply orders, review tenant and building work tickets
Position Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Affordable Housing Industry
Solid knowledge in all aspects of building maintenance
Prepare locations for Inspections - REAC experience extremely helpful
Must have a thorough understanding of the NYC building code enforcement agencies, DOB, ECB, FDNY, DOH, HPD etc.
Must have Construction back round.
General knowledge of all basic building systems: structural, roof, heat, hot water, plumbing etc.
Excellent time management skills - Understanding Spanish is beneficial
Office skills not required - Work closely on site with building staff
