Software Developer

AMSOIL INC. is looking for a Software Developer. This is the ideal role for someone looking to start their career in a supportive and collaborative IT work environment.This role is responsible for working with stakeholders to analyze, enhance, develop, and maintain business applications according to the organization’s requirements. In addition, this role works to solve operational problems and ensure the effective use of the business applications while meeting the established business strategies and standards. Core Responsibilities: Analyze, enhance, develop, modify, and test business applications to meet business requirementsAnalyze systems to define alternative solutions and functional specifications to solve system related issuesWork with users to support business applications and investigate operational problems or system requirementsWork to enhance the effective use of business systems and define solutions that are consistent with business strategies and standardsProvide primary analysis and programming support to modify external software packages to meet business requirementsProvide programming support and maintenance of existing systemsProvide data integrity methods, to ensure consistent, accurate & efficient use of data across the business applicationsPosition Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in related computer field or equivalent work experienceAny level of experience, pay commensurate with experienceFamiliarity with Java and Spring or the .NET FrameworkWorking knowledge of SQL Database Servers; Microsoft SQL Server (i.e. T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization)Education or experience in the design, development and implementation of software solutions, systems or productsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to communicate ideas in both a technical and user-friendly languageLogical and efficientKeen attention to detailHighly self-motivated and directedPreferred Qualifications:Experience working with ecommerce systems; SAP HybrisExperience working with ERP systems; EnterpriseOne (JD Edwards)Experience working with Salesforce Marketing CloudSolid understanding of data integrity
