We are looking for Move Specialists to work with our clients throughout Connecticut.

Amston Home Transitions is based out of Wallingford, CT, serving all of Connecticut. Must be able to travel with your own personal transportation.

We are looking for your help immediately. This is a part-time position. Your hours will vary from week to week depending on how much work there is. You must enjoy working with and supporting older adults, have strong attention to detail, and enjoy working on teams. You will have the opportunity to grow with the company if you are willing to learn.

Job Responsibilities:

Our Move Specialists provide the following services:

• Lift and load furniture, boxes, and other belongings onto a truck and unload them at their destination.
• Work under the direction of the Team Leader to implement customized move plans.
• Provide superior client service to clients and business partners.
• Assist clients & project managers to determine which belongings to keep, donate, gift, sell, or discard.
• Professionally pack all items, assist with unpacking and getting clients settled in their new home.
• Initiate and maintain communication with the Team Leader throughout job engagement.
• Participate in Team Meetings and One on One Meetings with Team Leader and Management.
• Provide feedback to Team Leader and Management for the best possible service to clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

• The ideal candidate will be able to work 4 days per week (Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm). Some weekends will be required.
• Must be honest, compassionate, reliable and dependable.
• Must have access to a reliable personal vehicle, personal computer and personal cell phone. Some jobs are across the state of Connecticut.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and work physically for a minimum of 4 hours.
• A high school graduate or GED equivalent is required.
• Must have references, allow for a background check and be insurable/bondable.
