What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Assistant position at AmSurg?
The Endoscopy Center at Voorhees has multiple GI endoscopy procedure rooms with state-of-the art safety and diagnostic equipment. We are confident that patients will find The Endo Center at Voorhees to be a very pleasant, safe and convenient alternative to hospital-based endoscopy. Our procedures include colonoscopies, flexible sigmoidoscopies, peripheral nerve evaluations, and upper endoscopies.
We are currently searching for a Full Time Nursing Assistant to work Monday – Friday who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks in a busy outpatient center. Major responsibilities include: assisting nurses with various tasks; escorting patients throughout the center; cleaning and changing over stretchers; restocking supplies; performing daily equipment checks; keeping areas safe and clean for patients.
Must be reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must demonstrate cooperative work attitude toward and with employees, physicians, and management. Must interact in a manner that is friendly, supportive, respectful, cooperative and professional.
You must possess a High School Diploma/GED. Patient care experience a plus but not required.
