Job Description
We are looking for a Land Development CAD Drafter to join our team. As a Drafter, you will work with our engineers on the following tasks:
- Create civil sketches, construction drawings, and detailed plans for residential, commercial, municipal, and industrial projects.
- Prepare drawings for grading, paving, stormwater management, utilities, zoning, and infrastructure improvements.
- Read, interpret, and draft plans, profiles, cross-sections, and details.
- This position offers the potential to take on design responsibilities after mastering the company’s design standards.
- Minimum 5 years' experience.
- Experience in both commercial and residential land development is a plus.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D; knowledge of Carlson is a bonus.
- Technical school degree and/or coursework in civil engineering-related drafting.
- Enthusiastic about contributing to a growing company and motivated to learn.
- Attention to detail and a willingness to complete projects within deadlines.
