JobTitle : Shop Support
Location : Airway Heights WA
Duration : 6 months contract (Depending on theclient needs)
Work schedule : 1stshift 5 : 00 am 3 : 30 pm (4 / 10s Monday Thursday)
Pay : $18.00 $22.00 an hour (Actual offer willdepend on experience)
JOBRESPONSIBILITIES :
- May alsoclean metal parts through the use of a wide array of processes suchas handwiping solvent washing and alkaline / caustic chemicalcleaning.
May be required to obtain applicable certificates forcleaning.
- Detect andreport faulty operations.
- Check for prescribed dimensions in jigsfixtures or with calipers micrometers height gages and otherinspection devices
- Follow written instructions andsketches.
- Perform allwork in accordance with established standards and safetyprocedures.
- May trainothers on job experience.
- Work under directoversight.
JOBQUALIFICATIONS :
- Requires a general working knowledge ofvarious abrasives mediums and grits as well as demonstrated skilllevel to remove edge and corner burrs to a consistent shape withoutexcessive gouging.
- Able to read and understand precautionssafety criteria and mix ratios.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing planningoperations and sketches.
- Knows when to stop and ask forclarification.
- Mustbe able to use mathematics relevant to shop supportfunctions.
- Requiresability to learn the use of machine tools and precisioninstruments.
- Alsorequires good manual dexterity.
WORKINGCONDITIONS :
- Demonstrate proper and safe operation ofequipment and personal protective equipment including but notlimited to safety glasses / full face shield hearing protection heatreflective body garments and gloves asrequired.
