Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexible start time)

Overview
The Network Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and administering the Nashville International Airport's network environment. This role includes managing computer networks, hardware, software, and disaster recovery operations to protect against attacks and data loss.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for BNA's network environment, including:
- Identifying network requirements
- Installing network components
- Maintaining upgrades
- Monitoring network performance
- Plan and implement network security policies using Cisco Software Defined (SD)-Access.
- Configure and maintain Cisco SD-Access and Identity Service Engine (ISE) security policies.
- Maintain local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) documentation.
- Define network project scope and objectives based on business needs.
- Identify and manage upgrades to network assets and infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.).
- Diagnose and resolve issues with wired and wireless networks, including VLANs.
- Analyze network performance through sniffer traces and deep TCP/IP protocol understanding.
- Lead the review of design and implementation of network projects.
- Respond to unplanned network events and resolve technical/operational issues.
- Set up hardware access for users and analyze equipment performance records.
- Ensure compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) regulatory controls.
- Maintain network configuration for compliance and establish plans for network resilience.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
- Support MNAA's culture and values: Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence (RISE).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 4-7 years of relevant experience in network infrastructure and hardware administration.
- Licenses: Class D Driver’s License required.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure, including IP networks, routing protocols, and data security.
- Experience with Cisco devices, including WAPs, routers, switches, and controllers.
- Deep knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
- Proficient in LAN/WAN system configuration and TC/IP protocol.
