Operations Manager
We are a global, fast past, high growth company. The ideal candidate for this position will have 5 to 7 years of operations management experience in a manufacturing environment.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong leadership skills.
The Manufacturing Operations Manager: manages the company's production activities and will work towards continuous improvement.
· Creates, coordinates, monitors, and measures business plan objectives vs actual results.
· Manage forecasting, product ordering and the flow of inventory.
· Act as liaison with external parties relative to procurement of services and materials.
· Maintain effective communications with production personnel and upper management.
· Facilitates product development cycle, with consideration with cost, time, functionality and manufacturability.
· Promotes productive capacity and efficiencies.
· Resolves quality issues and reduces scrap and waste.
· Engenders a culture of safety.
· Willingness to travel to multiple locations/sites and ensure efficient operations
· Other duties as assigned.
· Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Management, Logistics, Operations or related discipline is preferred.
· Strong analytical and negotiating skills.
· Must be proficient in MS office and ERP systems
