The opportunity.
As the License and IP Office Assistant, you will fill the pivotal role of supporting the License and IP Administrator with managing various aspects of intellectual property (IP) and licensing operations for the organization. Your daily responsibilities will include tasks related to royalty reporting, licensee management, and patent and trademark administration, as well as general office support functions.

You can expect a normal office work environment. This includes sitting, standing, bending, reaching, a normal range of hearing and vision, and ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Responsibilities You Can Expect.
- Assist manager with the accurate and timely execution of royalty reports, plant breeder reports, and licensee annual schedules.
- Collaborate with team to maintain accurate records in SAP system, including royalty rates, marketing fees, and plant breeder, licensee, product, and vendor information.
- Maintain accurate license and trademark files, ensuring compliance with established procedures and regulations.
- Ensure timely collection of monthly licensee statements and vendor rebate reports; oversee distribution of reports to all stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact by answering and directing inbound calls for the company, providing professional and courteous assistance to all callers.
- Support daily function of office by ordering office supplies and receiving, processing, and distributing mail.
- Additional duties as required.

- High school diploma or equivalent (GED), plus a minimum of two years of office administration experience
- Demonstrated ability to work in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication
- Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Experience with SAP system preferred
