Brief Overview:
The QA Manager will play a critical role on the Amwell International Engineering department. Specifically, the QA Manager will:
- Act as the quality ambassador & “gate keeper” of the AWI.
- Lead & manage the QA team members (Israel & Eastern Europe), in matrix management: allocate tasks, identify tech needs, initiate new tests, processes, , methodology and activities, in a scrum environment while maintaining the QA team members professional level at its very best
- Lead, manage, own & write effective testing tools to test complex, large-scale, distributed systems using Selenium, JAVA, SQL, mobile (IOS/Android) and other automation tools.
- Lead, manage, own & write QA processes and best practices in conjunction with global AW QA department for ensuring a high-quality product, implement advanced software testing methodologies, models and practices as required.
- Lead, manage, execute & maintain the automated test scripts, assuring continuous testing process in conjunction with global AW QA department.
- Work closely with R&D managers, team leaders & product team to understand user needs and to develop and adhere to QA & QA processes and guidelines.
- Work with global Amwell QA team, with matrix report to global QA Manager, and direct report to AWI VP R&D.
Qualifications:
- QA expertise with SaaS web solutions with distributed/micro-services products (AWS preferred).
- 1 years as a Manager in an Agile/Scrum organization/work processes.
- 4 year of experience in coding testing automation in Java.
- Knowledge in writing STP’s/STD’s, execution plans and QA methodology.
- Deep understanding of SQL/NoSQL Databases.
- Highly proficient in English.
- Familiarity with Appium & Selenium – Advantage.
