We are looking for a Regulatory Analyst to join our team in Charlotte. This position will support the Senior Vice President of Regulatory Compliance through research, presentation preparation, and internal customer service firm-wide. Our Regulatory Analyst is a vital member of the compliance team:
Maintain electronic tools used for internal processes
Analyze state issued bulletins and determine operational changes required for compliance
Collect and analyze documents from our internal operating system for audits, Department of Insurance inquiries, etc.
Accept and manage request for changes to our intranet site for Regulatory Compliance section
Respond to insurer request for data needed for regulatory reporting
Administrative functions – create and manage spreadsheets required for various projects
Assist with short timeframe deadlines associated with acquisitions and other demographic changes
Update current compliance research documents used exclusively by our Compliance Team
Manage new research projects which will include interpretation of regulatory language, bulletins and other sources to make ensure proper compliance
Assist other team members on an ongoing basis as needs occur
