Amwins Access is seeking a self-motivated and driven Vice President, Agency Development Team for the greater Southern California area. This position is not office based, it will require extensive local travel.
We are looking for people with:
- No outside marketing experience is required, however, 2 – 5 years of working experience in Commercial and or Personal Insurance is required
- Comfortable preparing for and giving presentations
- Traveling 3 – 4 days out of the week is required with a minimum of 12 – 15 agency visits per week
- Able to work independently to meet established goals
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate a motor vehicle
Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Increasing written premium across all lines of insurance under Amwins Access
- Educating retail insurance agencies on our company products and services
- Visiting and/or cold calling both new and existing Retail Agencies building rapport and lasting relationships which in-turn will result in an increase in submission flow and bind activity
- Participate in trade shows within your assigned territory
- Preparing agency visit reports, etc.
- Work closely with underwriting teams to help achieve production goals
