Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping: Record all Clubs financial transactions accurately and ensure that entries are posted correctly in the accounting system.
- Bank & Cash Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded, and discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
- Perform general ledger accounting and maintain financial records.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes
- Reclassify Entry to correct GL to match budget.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations of financial transactions.
- Manage accounting Inbox.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects as needed.
- General Admin (FPL Setup/ prepaid set up etc.)
Professional Qualifications
- Must have prior experience in Accounting Functions as well as Finance knowledge managing tasks and projects to timely completion.
- Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and concepts, including debits/credits & accruals
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when recording financial transactions and preparing reports.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively to meet deadline.
- Outstanding Excel skills
- Education: Major degree in accounting
- 3 to 5 years of experience in public accounting
