What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead LED Technician - Celtics/Red Sox position at ANC?
ANC seeks a highly-organized and technically-proficient individual to join its Field Operations team as Lead Field Technician for the Boston market, which includes the Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtics. The Lead Field Technician serves on the "front lines" and is responsible for managing the ongoing operations and maintenance of ANC's signage and LED display systems, technical support, client communications, and staffing in their particular market.
The Lead Field Technician position is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position reporting to the regional Field Operations Manager. You will be based remotely from a home office with extensive local travel within Boston and some regional and/or other domestic travel as needed. What you’ll do…
- Management of operations and maintenance of ANC systems (cleaning, repairs and troubleshooting, walkthroughs, etc.).
- Collaborate with Logistics group to properly manage inventory and equipment.
- Event reporting and technical support ticketing.
- Manage all staffing for the market (part-time field technician scheduling, hiring, performance, etc.)
- Represent the ANC brand to clients as needed.
- Support fixed installations on ad hoc basis.
- Provide additional support to regional field ops head.
What we’re looking for…
- High School or GED Degree, or the equivalent in related experience.
- At least 2 years of experience working with LED display systems.
- At least 1 year of experience in a technical role.
- At least 2 years of supervisory/management experience.
- Basic knowledge of LED display systems.
- Comfortable being customer-oriented and client-facing.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Windows operating system.
- The ability to travel locally and regionally, as well as accommodate a flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, etc.)
- Background in LED, video engineering, or A/V systems preferred.
- Possess physical stamina and meet all other aspects of a physically-demanding role (lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing up and working at 40 ft. elevations, strenuous work for long continuous shifts, etc.)
