Job Title: Intensive Care / Coronary Nurse (ICU)Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Intensive Care / Coronary Nurse (ICU) to provide specialized nursing care in our critical care unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and treating patients with life-threatening conditions, administering medications, managing life support equipment, and coordinating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Responsibilities and Duties:1. Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and condition, including heart rhythm, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.3. Operate and maintain life support equipment such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and IV pumps.4. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans.5. Educate patients and families on their condition, treatment options, and post-discharge care.6. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families during times of crisis.7. Evaluate and document patient progress and responses to treatment.8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.Qualifications and Skills:1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.3. Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.4. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or coronary care setting.5. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.8.
