Job Title: Operating Room RNJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. As an Operating Room RN, you will be responsible for providing patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safety and well-being of patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.Responsibilities and Duties:1. Preparing operating rooms for surgeries and ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available.2. Assisting surgeons during surgical procedures by passing instruments, monitoring patient vitals, and providing support as needed.3. Monitoring patient recovery post-surgery and providing appropriate care and medication.4. Educating patients and their families on post-operative care instructions.5. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.6. Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures to maintain a safe and sterile surgical environment.7. Participating in continuous training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in surgical techniques and technology.Qualifications and Skills:1. Valid RN license in the state of employment.2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.3. BLS and ACLS certifications.4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.5. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.6. Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills.7. Knowledge of surgical procedures and equipment.8.
