Position Summary

Join Anchor Loans as a Software Engineer (SWE) and be part of our top-tier technology team. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can contribute to all aspects of cloud-based software development, optimizing not only their own code but also helping others to enhance theirs. Our mission is to address business needs with our unique technology solutions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Guide and vet system designs to solve ambiguous problems.
• Communicate design and implementation decisions effectively through design documents, diagrams, and code.
• Conduct thorough and timely code reviews.
• Drive cross-functional efforts that involve teams across Anchor Loans to solve hard problems that span technical, organizational, and societal dimensions.
• Mentor and train team members on design techniques, coding standards, debugging complex systems, and engineering best practices.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of full-stack software development experience, with a focus on Python, Python frameworks (Django, Flask, Fast API), JavaScript, and VueJS.
• Proficiency in designing, architecting, testing, maintaining, and launching cloud-based (web/mobile) software products.
• Expertise with AWS.
• Familiarity with source code repositories like Git or Bitbucket.
• Experience with CI/CD and automation.
• Experience working in a fast-paced agile/scrum environment.
  

Preferred, but not required

• Experience with other software languages is a plus.
• Familiarity with other cloud service providers (Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Work Environment

This is a remote position.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is $80,000 -$100,000/annual, plus discretionary annual performance bonus.
