Job Description

We are seeking a Paralegal Specialist to work with our client. The ideal candidate will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs and familiar with Torts (person injury) claims.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience with handling filings at court and some of the various employment agencies
  • Contacting witnesses in cases in order to gather relevant documents
  • Setting up interview sessions with those witnesses
  • Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
  • Issuing subpoenas
  • Organizing the documents we received and uploading them to our electronic database
  • Reviewing and redacting confidential material
  • Searching emails for specific terms and/or dates
  • Abstracting deposition transcripts.
  • Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

​Qualifications:

  • 1 years of experience as a paralegal or other legal field
  • Familiarity with legal research
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
