Job Summary:
The Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including managing the financial reporting and closing processes. This role requires a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and team management. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and reported.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
- Oversee the overall financial health of the company, ensuring sound financial management practices and policies are in place.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic projects and initiatives.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of audits.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and other financial reporting standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of accounting experience, including experience as a Controller or in a similar role.
- Experience managing the financial operations of multiple locations is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
