What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reach Truck Operator position at Anderson Biro LLC?
We are looking for Warehouse Associates. This opportunity offers great benefits and unlimited growth potential.
Picking Function:
- Operate a Reach Truck - experience required
- Utilize an RF Scanning device to scan item location and item number bar codes to confirm items picked for customer orders.
- Apply customer-compliant labels to cartons in preparation for shipment.
- Floor Picking using an RF Scanner Pallet Jack/or Cart to Pick Orders
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of an assigned set of pallet locations. This includes: sweeping, straightening, and organizing cartons, removing empty pallets, shrink wrap, and cardboard, closing open cartons, and ensuring all items are properly labeled.
- Follow the outbound shipping loading and order checking procedures.
SKILLS
- Must be able to operate an RF Scanner
- Prior reach truck expereince is a must
- Strong work ethic
- Must be able to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
- Must be able to work at a fast pace
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Extensive walking, lifting, bending, standing
- Long periods of operating material handling equipment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively
- Must be able to read an RF Scanner and pallet scale.
- Must be able to work overtime with little notice
