We're on the lookout for a dynamic Vice-President Sales with a proven track record in data-driven leadership. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of driving strategic initiatives to elevate our sales performance and introduce innovative products to our valued clients.

 


Objectives of this Role:


As the Vice-President Sales, you will be taking charge of new client sales, add-on sales to existing clients, client retention, and renewals.

 

Your canvas: a solid foundation of proven sales excellence. Your masterpiece: building upon this foundation by managing our existing team of over 30 sales reps and strategically expanding with the creation of a new remote team spanning the country.


This is not just a role; it's an invitation to pioneer new sales methods, optimize current standard operating processes, and leads into a higher percentage of additional clients. Your strategic vision will be the driving force behind the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales operations.

 

 

Responsibilities:


As the Vice-President Sales at Anderson Business Advisors, your role is multifaceted and pivotal in driving the success of our sales contact center. Here are your key responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Recruit, manage, cultivate, and empower a dynamic team of sales reps. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a high-performing and motivated sales force.
  • Coaching Excellence: Listen in on calls and actively coach sales reps throughout the week. Your hands-on approach will focus on enhancing closing skills, ensuring continuous improvement, and driving exceptional service outcomes.
  • Relationship Building: Collaborate with the sales team to build effective skills for managing long-term sales relationships with clients. Your guidance will empower the team to nurture client connections and proactively seek referrals, contributing to sustained business growth.
  • Strategic Direction: Direct and execute approved strategy decisions. Establish and implement priorities, performance goals, and objectives that align with our vision for the growth and success of the sales contact center.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive high-quality results through continuous improvement initiatives. Lead, inspire, and motivate colleagues to deliver exceptional service outcomes, both quantitatively and qualitatively, to internal and external customers.
  • Team Development: Provide leadership to the team by investing in coaching, development, training, and guiding team members in their succession paths. Conduct monthly performance reviews to ensure continuous professional growth.
  • Reporting and Presentation: Deliver well-structured and impactful sales reports and presentations to the CEO and stakeholders on a monthly basis. Your insights will contribute to informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Travel: Be prepared for travel as required, up to 15%.

  • Sales Mastery: Boast a minimum of 10 years of sales experience, showcasing your depth of knowledge and proficiency in the art of sales.
  • Leadership Expertise: Bring to the table a minimum of 10 years of experience in leadership roles. Your extensive leadership background will be the guiding force in steering our sales teams toward unparalleled success.
  • Contact Center Prowess: Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of contact center and telesales-related leadership experience. Your expertise in this realm will be crucial in driving the expansion and optimization of our contact sales center capabilities.
  • High-Ticket Sales Background: Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience working with Professional Salespeople offering high-ticket sales items. Your ability to navigate high-value transactions will be instrumental in our growth strategy.
  • Intangible Sales Proficiency: Boast a minimum of 5 years of experience selling intangible items (services) to small business owners. Your track record in selling services to our target market will be a key factor in shaping our sales approach.
  • Consultative and Phone Sales Excellence: Showcase extensive consultative and phone sales experience. Your ability to connect with clients over the phone and offer consultative solutions will be central to our success.
  • Proven Sales Record: Highlight previous experience in a senior sales role with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets. Your track record of success will be a testament to your ability to drive results.
  • Contact Center Trends Mastery: Bring expert knowledge of current contact center trends and operations. Your understanding of industry dynamics will guide our strategy for staying ahead of the curve.
  • Professional Integrity: Exude professionalism with a high level of integrity. Your commitment to ethical business practices will set the standard for our sales team.
  • Tech-Savvy: Showcase excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce and Google Suite. Your tech-savviness will enable you to leverage tools for efficient operations.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills. Your ability to articulate complex ideas will be crucial in conveying our value proposition.
